Norwich Railway Station is located on Station Approach, Riverside, Norwich. There is a taxi rank right outside the station with a regular supply of taxis. For more information about travelling to Chapelfield via taxi, please click here. In addition the No.25 bus service, operated by First, departs from the bus stop on the station forecourt regularly throughout the day and into the evening. This bus service takes passengers in to the city centre, stopping at Castle Meadow and at Norwich Bus Station – the closest stop to Chapelfield.
The walk in to Norwich city centre takes approximately 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Norwich Rail Station cross over Riverside Road on to Prince of Wales Road and continue walking up the right hand side of this road. At the top of Prince of Wales Road, after Upper King Street and Bank Plain, cross over onto Castle Meadow. Keep the castle on your left and continue on to Red Lion Street and then on to St Stephen’s Street. The St Stephen’s Street entrance to Chapelfield is around 100 metres along on your right.
Remember to look out for the “Chapelfield” train whenever you are travelling by rail in the area.
