Getting to Chapelfield

On Foot

Located right in the city centre, it couldn’t be easier to walk to Chapelfield during a visit to Norwich.  Chapelfield is signposted throughout the pedestrian areas of the city centre, making it straightforward to find us anywhere when walking around Norwich.

VisitNorwich produce a range of publications to help visitors to the area navigate around the city centre.  These are stocked by the Norwich Tourist Information Centre and at our Customer Information Desk.  Alternatively, they can be downloaded via the VisitNorwich website.

If you are walking from Norwich Castle you will need to follow Castle Meadow towards Red Lion Street, keeping the castle on your left. Continue on to Red Lion Street and then on to St Stephen’s Street.  The St Stephen’s Street entrance to Chapelfield is around 100 metres along on your right.

Chapelfield is also walking distance from Norwich Cathedral.   Exit the Cathedral at the main entrance and cross the road at the pedestrian crossing next to HAHA’s. Walk straight on up Queen Street and continue straight onto London Street.  Follow London Street round to the right and turn left onto Gentleman’s Walk.  The entrance to Chapelfield is at the end of Gentleman’s Walk between Mark’s and Spencer at St. Stephen’s Church - look out for The Pier.
