Shoppers Get Arty at Chapelfield with Urban Canvas

A giant Celestial Sun lit up Chapelfield Plain on Saturday 27 August, as shoppers were invited to get creative and take part in urban pavement art.

Children and parents got on their hands and knees to colour in a huge work of art on the Chapelfield Plain pavements, with award-winning Urban Canvas.  The artwork took shape over five hours, and was interrupted with a couple of spells of rain, changing the look of the final colourful masterpiece.
